Baie-Sainte-Catherine
is a municipality located at the junction of the St.
Lawrence River and the Saquenay
Fjord in the eastern part of the Charlevoix region. A ferry connects Baie-Sainte-Catherine
to the village of Tadoussac,
offering a maritime museum, historic sites and wharves to explore. Thousands of
tourists visit Baie-Sainte-Catherine annually, especially for whale-watching and
fjord cruises operated by companies such as Croisieres
